Courage the Cowardly Dog season 3 out on DVD

Warner Home Video today released the 3rd season of Courage the Cowardly Dog on DVD.  The two disc set has 13 episodes of the hit show.

Originally airing on Cartoon Network, Courage the Cowardly Dog tells the story of a dog named Courage who lives with an old couple named Eustace and Muriel.  Strange happenings occur, and despite Courage being a scaredy cat, he will do everything he can to save his owners.

Seasons 1 and 2 have already been released by Warner Home Video as part of the Cartoon Network Hall of Fame.  This is the only series that has surpassed the first season as the remaining seasons for other shows on this line of releases have only released season one.  The others include Johnny Bravo and Dexter's Laboratory.

DC Super Hero Girls Super Hero High special to air March 19th

DC Comics announced last week that the DC Super Hero Girls special, Super Hero High, has an air date set for March 19th at 10am on Boomerang.  They also began streaming the trailer which you can watch right here.

WB and DC also plans a major launch of DC Super Hero Girls toys and merchandise starting this spring but will extend worldwide in July.  If proven successful, a movie adaption could be in the works.

The Boomerang schedule will make some adjustments for this special in order to accommodate.  What's New Scooby-Doo will be cut back to a half an hour at 8am followed by Scooby-Doo Camp Scare at 8:30.  Looney Tunes will also be cut down to a half an hour starting at 11am

This is part of a major deal WB struck with Boomerang for original new content for the channel.  Last year Boomerang debuted Wabbit and Be Cool Scooby-Doo and this year they have begun airing Bunnicula.

Tom and Jerry heading Back to Oz

Tom and Jerry return in an all new movie where they will return to the Land of Oz in the movie, Tom and Jerry Back to Oz.  The movie will be available on DVD and Digital HD, and you can watch the trailer for it right now.

This is a sequel to the movie, Tom and Jerry and the Wizard of Oz which was released back in 2011.  Based on two of MGM's biggest successes (The Wizard of Oz 1939 and the original Tom and Jerry cartoons 1940-1958), this crossover puts Tom and Jerry and friends into the story of The Wizard of Oz following the adventures of Dorthy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion.

Tom and Jerry airs everyday on Boomerang.
