Boomerang shows Now out on DVD and Blu-ray

Sorry I'm late with this one, but yesterday some Boomerang shows ended up on DVD.  First up, Warner Home Video released Wabbit: Hare Raising Tales.  As the cover says, this set includes 26 episodes on 2 discs.  This was one of Boomerang's first original animated series.  Based on the classic Looney Tunes character, Wabbit features Bugs Bunny outwitting his foes.  This is the first time Wabbit has been out on DVD.

Kino released many Depatie Freleng titles.  They include The Inspector, The Ant and the Aardvark, and Crazylegs Crane.  These shorts have been remastered and restored.  These also aired with the Pink Panther many years ago for Saturday Morning.  We doubt that Crazylegs Crane was on Boomerang, but for sure The Inspector was and maybe The Ant and the Aardvark as part of the Pink Panther compilation.  Of course these no longer air on Boomerang.  Kino has begun sub-licensing these cartoons from MGM with more titles coming soon.

Wabbit can be seen everyday on Boomerang
